We are looking to recruit an inspirational, talented, and highly effective practitioner to work alongside the Principal in the strategic leadership and management of the Academy. 

About the Role:

The successful candidate will play a crucial role in building on existing successes and continuing to drive forward improvements as part of the school’s Senior Leadership Team, whilst creating an environment where there are the highest expectations for all members of the Academy community.  

You will already work within a Senior Leadership Team and have an ambition to take on further responsibility in a pivotal role. As well as being an outstanding classroom practitioner you will have experience of strong performance management, providing a positive and welcoming leadership style, whilst ensuring accountability for our children’s progress and outcomes.

  • To undertake strategic planning, contributing to school self-evaluation sharing responsibility for developing and implementing the Academy Development Plan. 
  • Use national, local, and school data effectively to analyse and evaluate the children’s progress; plan and implement effective interventions to support children. 
  • Inspire, motivate, and influence staff and children, maintain the highest standards and expectations of teaching, learning and pupil well-being.  

About Us: 

Corby Primary Academy is a thriving GAT academy in Oakley Vale, Corby.  A new build opening in 2014, this is an innovative and inclusive academy for children aged 3-11 and is led by a Primary Principal.

The academy is a warm and friendly environment that delivers an engaging curriculum to pupils from Nursery to Year 6.  Ofsted rated the academy as ‘Outstanding’ in July 2015. We are proud of our pupils who are expected to work hard and give their best. In return, the staff team are committed to planning and teaching high quality lessons that are purposeful and build on pupils’ knowledge and skills, utilising the excellent school grounds and making the most of IT and Microsoft 365 in teaching and learning.
