Salary: MPR/UPR plus TLR 1C

With our SENDCo soon to start maternity leave, we are seeking an experienced and qualified SENDCo to cover this important role.  

 About the role:

The successful candidate will have overall responsibility for the leadership and management of the Inclusion Faculty and wider whole school SEND teaching, support and assessment ensuring high standards of teaching and learning are delivered, resources are used efficiently and the wider whole school curriculum is managed and developed in accordance with best practice in SEND teaching.  

This is an excellent opportunity to take on a whole school responsibility and is an excellent training ground where you can develop yourself and your leadership, as well as enjoying the privilege of supporting the lives of the young people in our care. 


We warmly welcome potential candidates to come on what we refer to as a ‘Walk and Talk’. This usually takes less than an hour, can be during the academy day or after school has finished. We find this provides a great opportunity for candidates to get a really good insight into Kingswood, prior to submitting an application.
