The Brunts Academy continues to go from strength to strength, driven by a team of dedicated professionals with high ambitions for what its staff and pupils can achieve.
We are keen to hear from candidates who are passionate about science and who are ambitious about working with and developing a team of hard-working and dedicated teachers to implement the curriculum effectively and to secure positive outcomes for our pupils. The role will be suited to an experienced subject leader, currently leading their own department, or someone who is 2nd in charge of a department/faculty and looking for the next step in their carer.
The science faculty is line led by a Senior Deputy Principal who is a science specialist. It also has a 2nd in Faculty who ably supports the leadership of the faculty currently and will be an incredibly valuable asset to an incoming leader. We offer GCSE triple science as an option in addition to A Levels across biology, chemistry and physics.
