Salary: Leadership L15-L21 (£59,581-£69,031)

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced senior leader to help shape the future of the Medeshamstede Academy, taking a focused lead on Behaviour, Attitudes and Personal Development across the academy.

We’re looking for a exceptional senior leader who:

  • has experience of teaching young people with significant and complex Special Educational Needs and is committed to adapting learning to the needs of individuals
  • Is able to lead the team of professionals working around the students and engage with stakeholders including therapists, the Local Authority and care workers
  • is dedicated to providing pupils with the best education possible and has the vision, passion and proven track record in school improvement to ensure significant improvements in performance across the Academy
  • Has an effective management style that encourages innovation and confidence and builds upon the positive culture amongst staff
  • can build positive relationships with staff, pupils and parents alike
  • is able to demonstrate the values that underpin our approach to supporting students 

About us:

Medeshamstede Academy is an all through Academy for pupils aged 4 to 16. All pupils have an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP) for communication and interaction with a diagnosis of Autism as their main presenting need.
