The Skegness Academy is currently seeking to appoint a dynamic and inspirational Teacher of Maths who is ambitious and has a real passion for their subject!

About the role:

The Skegness Academy is looking for a creative, innovative and an inspirational teacher to support and teach in the Math's curriculum. The successful candidate will join an Academy with an experienced, committed, and a dynamic Senior Leadership Team, and will play a key part in the Academy’s remarkable transformational journey within the Greenwood Academies Trust.

We are focused on ensuring that all learners have the best curriculum provisions and learning opportunities, every lesson, every day. The successful candidate will be an outstanding classroom practitioner who is committed to supporting students to become expert learners.

Working as part of the Greenwood Academies Trust MAT, you will be fully supported to develop and deliver an enriching curriculum that leads to students becoming successful. We want Math's to be at the heart of the school curriculum that is very much student centered.

Skegness Academy is a Secondary Academy located in Skegness. All staff at the academy have high expectations and strive for quality and consistency so there are aspects of lessons which young people will see regardless of their age, ability or subject; they will always know what they are learning, why it is relevant and how they will know if they have succeeded. With ever-changing specifications weighted towards exams at the end of the course, it is very important that our preparation for exams is a marathon and not a sprint which is why we start early, building the knowledge, skills and resilience that our students need to succeed in life after compulsory schooling.
