Salary: £11.79 - £11.98 per hour

We are seeking an enthusiastic Exam Invigilator to join our friendly team here at the Skegness Academy to supervise pupils during examination periods on a casual, zero hour contract. 

You must be able to work between school hours of 8:30 - 3:30 Monday-Friday during exam period to cover all exams across the school.

About the Role:

The role will involve invigilation of individuals and groups of learners undertaking written exams or on-line tests. The successful Exam Invigilator will be able to work with large and small groups of students in an exam setting, ensuring organisation while instructing exam candidates in the exams hall environment. You will also play a key part in assisting the Examinations Manager/Officer in the preparation of the examination room, ensuring the room meets the exam board requirements. 

We are looking for someone who:

  • can relate positively to all learners, ensuring they are well respected and reassured during a high-intensity environment
  • is extremely diligent, adaptable and flexible with the ability to overcome challenges they are faced with
  • has great verbal communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with all staff members, students and parents/guardians
  • is able to demonstrate a range of behaviour management strategies
  • is motivated, independent and has high expectations of themselves, always striving for the best.
