Salary: £8,295 per annum (£7,167 pro-rata)

Fixed term, 18 month contract

The role:

This is an excellent opportunity for an organised, pro-active and friendly person to join our Administration team. Working towards a Level 3 Business Administrator Standard you will work under supervision to provide high quality administrative support within the Stanground academy.

This isn't a desk-bound role and would suit someone who is active and likes to be on their feet. Some manual handling will also be involved when assisting with reprographics. You would need to be willing to be one of our first aid team and experience of delivering first aid would be desirable, but full training will be provided for the right person. This is a term time only role and this is reflected in the pro-rata salary. 

This role will include:

  • distribution of incoming mail, franking and sending outgoing mail
  • maintain electronic and manual systems, including data inputting, in an efficient and effective manner
  • arranging, co-ordinating and communicating details for meetings, training and events
  • prepare and edit emails, letters, presentations and other correspondence
  • storing and maintaining confidential documents in line with GDPR
  • delivering first aid as required, once the relevant First Aid training is completed

  • excellent communication skills 
  • attention to detail
  • excellent IT skills
  • the ability to form good working relationships
