About You:
 
We are looking to appoint a talented and innovative Data Manager to administer all aspects of the Academy's data management systems. Working in collaboration with senior leaders, they will make a significant contribution to the development of the academy's systems for the accurate recording, presentation, analysis and reporting of assessment, progress, behaviour, and attendance data. The right candidate will:
  • Have day-to-day oversight of the academy's management information system (MIS), ensuring accurate and up-to-date information, relating to personal, academic and other relevant aspects, is held on each student. 
  • Work with leaders to develop how data is recorded so that it is accurate and workload is minimised.
  • Work with leaders to develop how data is analysed and presented, so that it underpins our high standards and ceaseless desire to improve.
  • Work with leaders to develop how data is presented and reported to all stakeholders so that it is clear to understand and has impact.
  • Provide statutory data returns, including the school census, to the trust and external bodies including the DFE and LA, ensuring they are accurate and submitted on time.  
  • Be able to support and train staff in the academy's systems so that they can access and use data to inform their own roles intelligently.

The Nottingham Girls’ Academy, part of the Greenwood Academies Trust (GAT), based on the outskirts of Nottingham, provides 11-19 education for over 900 pupils. The academy, led by the Executive Principal, David Tungate, has a clear vision for the future. Through high standards in teaching and pastoral care, they are determined that pupils are able to achieve great results and leave as confident, compassionate and articulate young women, with the skills to support them through the rest of their lives.
