Salary: £23,656 FTE (£8,322 pro rata)

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic Midday Supervisor to join Nethergate Academy and work as part of the team supporting pupils’ educational, personal, intimate, and healthcare needs.

About the Role:

This role will be 15 hours per week, working from 11:00am - 2:00pm, term time only (39 weeks per year.)

The Academy works with children and young people who have learning difficulties and complex needs and their families. You will be required to assist pupils with their day-to-day personal care needs and to work alongside other professional staff to support and develop pupils’ personal independence skills. You will provide practical support to pupils in their personal hygiene, toileting and eating and drinking.

The prospective start date for this role is January 2025.

About Us:

Nethergate Academy is a special academy in the City of Nottingham for just over 160 pupils aged 5-19 with a range of moderate and complex learning difficulties, including a new provision for children with autism as their primary need. Each pupil has an Education Health Care Plan and this role will co-ordinate the process of annual reviews, to ensure our pupils have their needs identified and met.
