Salary: MPR/UPR with TLR opportunities.

We are looking for an enthusiastic, dynamic and inspirational Teacher of Science who has the highest expectations of themselves and our pupils.

Please note that based on previous experience and suitability, this role may come with additional responsibilities. We welcome both applicants that may and may not want the TLR to apply. This will be discussed in further detail in interview. 

About the Role:

We wish to recruit someone who shares our vision that all pupils should leave with the skills to be able to appreciate science and relate it to the world they live in.  As a Teacher of Science, you will be expected to ensure through effective teaching and learning, that all pupils are equipped to use and apply investigatory, analytical, interpreting and communication skills.

About Us:

The City of Peterborough Academy was opened in September 2013 by Greenwood Academies Trust (GAT) after a £13.8m capital build. Based on Reeves Way in Peterborough, the academy has quickly grown from strength to strength. A dedicated team of staff aim to help support every child in reaching their full potential. Additionally, we have been described as a truly ‘inclusive school’ at our recent National Inclusion Quality Mark inspection and have also been awarded 'Centre of Excellence Status'. We were also ‘runners up’ at the 2020 National SEN awards for National Most Inclusive Practice.
