About the role:
We are looking for a Non-Teaching Head of Year, that is ready to join our team of support staff, combining your passion for helping and supporting children with a whole year responsibility. This post will provide you with opportunities to demonstrate the leadership skills necessary to make a real difference to student lives.
As part of the Academy’s pastoral team you will join a team who are playing a key part in improving the outcomes and life chances of the students within the Academy. The Head of Year will play a key role in leading their year group and ensuring that they receive the very best education and pastoral care.
The successful applicant will need to demonstrate a strong pastoral background, to support the wider schools ethos and values in raising students achievement (progress, attendance, behaviour and attitudes) for a year group, ensuring disadvantaged students excel.
