Learning Assistant Apprentice with a Sports Focus
37 hours a week, term time only (39 weeks)
This role is on a temporary basis for the duration of the apprenticeship.
Salary: £12,346 FTE (£10,715 pro rata)

We are delighted to announce that we have a vacancy to join our vibrant, friendly school. This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic, highly motivated, inspiring learning assistant to follow an apprenticeship with an accredited provider as part of our dedicated team of staff.
We are looking for candidates who:
- are educated to GCSE grade C/4 and above in Maths and English
- have experience of working with children preferably in a school setting, although this is not essential;
- have a flexible approach and ability to work as part of a team;
- are willing to participate fully in all aspects of school life;
- are well organised and have high expectations of achievement, behaviour and progress.
The Sports Learning Assistant apprenticeship uses the Level 3 Teaching Assistant Standard along with an embedded coaching qualification to enable those in a Sports TA role to achieve a relevant qualification whilst working in this position.
