Salary £24,294 - £25,979 FTE (pro-rata £16,657 - £17,812)

We require a hardworking, enthusiastic Chef Manager to be responsible for the safe, effective and efficient operation of all aspects of catering services within our Academy.

The successful applicant will work alongside GAT policies and procedures, to ensure that all catering services are of the highest possible standard. You will be required to manage other catering staff to ensure their compliance, and ensure that stock is ordered in a timely manner. 

You must have the following:

  • hold a Level 2 Food Safety Certificate and or willing to be trained in NVQ Level 3 in Catering and Hospitality.
  • have an understanding of food hygiene regulations.
  • have experience of managing a kitchen, including knowledge of Health and Safety legislation and practices.
  • be able to lead, motivate and work as part of a team.
  • have great organisational skills.

You will be required to cater for the breakfast club and lunchtime period, Monday to Friday, term time only (38 weeks). Uniform and training will be provided. You may be required to attend training and cleaning days, which will be paid as additional hours.
