  • able to nurture, inspire and motivate pupils of all abilities.
  • have a desire to deliver a high-quality curriculum
  • enjoy working as part of a dedicated team to achieve the best for each and every pupil

 About us:

We are a one-form entry school that serves a changing community close to the centre of Mansfield Woodhouse. We joined Greenwood Academies Trust on the 1st December, and are embarking on an exciting journey, focused on creating a first-class school at the heart of its community. Our children are delightful, they enjoy coming to school and we enjoy teaching them. We’re determined to make sustainable changes to allow our pupils to have the very best opportunities for the future, our leadership team are invested in school development and will walk the walk with the team to make the changes happen.

We had our monitoring visit from Ofsted in May 2023, this is what they had to say about our progress so far:

‘A new headteacher, deputy headteacher and special educational needs coordinator (SENCo) are now in post. The leadership of the school is now much more secure. You are setting high expectations of what all pupils can achieve. Early signs suggest that pupils are living up to these expectations. Parents are thrilled with the new leadership arrangements. They appreciate the efforts that have been taken to engage the community in the school’s improvement.’

‘Staff welcome the changes that have been made. They trust that they will receive support should they need it. They value the additional professional development opportunities open to them. They appreciate leaders’ consideration of their workload. Staff said that they feel listened to. They said that they are proud to work at the school.’
