About us:

We are a one-form entry school that serves a changing community close to the centre of Mansfield Woodhouse. We joined Greenwood Academies Trust on the 1st December, and are embarking on an exciting journey, focused on creating a first-class school at the heart of its community. Our children are delightful, they enjoy coming to school and we enjoy teaching them.

We had our monitoring visit from Ofsted in May 2023, this is what they had to say about our progress so far:

‘New 2 school leaders are now receiving the high-quality support and challenge needed in order to bring about the rapid change required and that pupils within the school deserve. This internal support is effective.’

‘Staff welcome the changes that have been made. They trust that they will receive support should they need it. They value the additional professional development opportunities open to them. They appreciate leaders’ consideration of their workload. Staff said that they feel listened to. They said that they are proud to work at the school.’

In Return:

You can be assured that you will be joining a successful Multi-Academy Trust that has a great track record in helping children to succeed no matter what their background. The Trust is dedicated to valuing and developing the workforce whether that be through ensuring a fair workload or offering access to bespoke CPD from the Learning Alliance to enhance professional growth.

We believe in looking after the people who make a huge difference to our children, their families, and the communities we serve. That is why we give everyone who joins a Perkbox account – with 24/7 access to perks and discounts, plus curated wellbeing tools to look after your physical and mental health.
