Salary: £24,294 - £25,979 (£21,083 - £22,546 pro rata)

We are looking for a Behaviour and Resilience Mentor (Non-Teaching) to join our team here at the Brunts Academy!

About the Role:

After the recent success where Ofsted have identified us as "making rapid progress" we are excited to be expanding our pastoral team to ensure our trajectory of school improvement and care for children continues to go from strength to strength. 

We are looking to appoint a Behaviour and Resilience Mentor (Non-Teaching), that is ready to join our team of support staff, combining your passion for helping and supporting children with a whole year responsibility. This post will provide you with opportunities to demonstrate the leadership skills necessary to make a real difference to lives of children. 

As part of the Academy’s pastoral team, you will join a cohesive and impactful team of colleagues who are playing a key part in improving the outcomes and life chances of the students within the Academy. 

The successful applicant will need to demonstrate a strong pastoral background, to support the wider schools ethos and values in raising students achievement (progress, attendance, behaviour and attitudes) for a year group and ensuring disadvantaged students excel. This role will suit a candidate who has knowledge and experience of working with children in secondary education settings, including those that have worked within alternative provision and social care environments.
