Salary: £22,737 - £23,893 FTE  (£15,999 - £16,813. pro rata) 

30 hours per week (8:30am-3pm daily), term time (39 weeks)

Personal Care Assistant

Required as soon as possible - Closing date: Sunday, 25 February 2024

This role is for 30 hours a week, Monday to Friday and is required in term time (39 weeks); therefore this is reflected in the pro rata salary.

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic Personal Care Assistant to join Nethergate Academy and work as part of the team supporting pupils’ educational and healthcare needs.

Nethergate academy works with children and young people who have learning difficulties and complex needs and their families. 

Nethergate Academy is an Outstanding special academy in the City of Nottingham for 175 pupils aged 5-19 with complex learning difficulties and disabilities. Many pupils are autistic and some have SEMH needs.

You will be required to assist pupils with their day to day personal care needs and to work alongside other professional staff to support and develop pupils’ personal independence skills. You will provide practical support to pupils in their personal hygiene, toileting, eating and drinking.

We are seeking someone who is caring and compassionate, with experience of working in a care setting or within a school setting supporting young people.
