Salary: £24,496 - £27,344 per annum

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an outstanding Premises Officer to join the Greenwood Academies Trust (GAT) to work at the Medeshamstede Academy.

The role:

Previous experience of buildings and asset management is a must, along with experience of supervising and motivating staff and managing work programmes; additionally, you must be a great team player with the ability to manage multiple work requests at any one time. You must possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills at all levels. IT literacy is a must as you will using a number of systems to input data.

Duties will include:

  • Ensuring that the environment (internal and external) of all buildings, are safe, well maintained and meet Health and Safety requirements
  • Premises management including statutory checks and tests
  • Maintenance, including the janitorial and cleaning provision
  • Liaising with contractors
  • Ensuring the security of the buildings

Medeshamstede Academy is an all through Academy for pupils aged 4 to 16. All pupils have an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP) for communication and interaction with a diagnosis of Autism at their main presenting need.
