Salary: £22,369 - £27,344 FTE (£19,413 - £23,730 pro rata)

We are seeking to appoint committed and talented Cover Supervisors to join our team here at the Wells Academy!

The role:

The successful post holders will be required to cover classes in the absence of the teacher including unplanned absence and/or planned absence due to the allocation of PPA time. They will work alongside teachers to plan and teach exciting and engaging learning opportunities. 

You will be able to demonstrate a range of teaching and behavioural management techniques, which facilitate a learning experience that provides pupils with the opportunity to achieve high standards. 

To be successful you will possess:

  • excellent communication skills at all levels
  • the ability to engage constructively with, and relate to, a wide range of young people from different backgrounds
  • the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
