Salary: £18,333 PA (£9,906 pro rata)

We are seeking to appoint a considerate and enthusiastic Catering Assistant to join our supportive and friendly team at the Skegness Academy.  

The successful applicant will provide support to the Catering Manager, ensuring that all catering services are of the highest possible standard. You will be required to prepare and serve meals and provide a friendly and efficient service to all staff and pupils. 

Working as part of a dedicated team, providing catering services to pupils, you will need to demonstrate: 

  • Working knowledge of HACCP, and Health and Safety in a Catering environment.
  • Experience of working within an education environment, though this is not essential.
  • Good organisational ability.
  • Excellent hygiene and health & safety practices
  • First class communication skills
  • Knowledge of Government Nutritional Standard

The successful candidate will hold:

  • Level 2 Food Safety Certificate.
  • NVQ Level 2 in Catering and Hospitality or work towards this

The role is Monday to Friday, 9.30 am to 2.45, to include a 30-minute unpaid break.
