Teacher of French (possible TLR up to £6,694)

The Wells Academy is looking for a Teacher of French to deliver a high quality curriculum to students across both KS3 & KS4. The successful candidate will be a teacher who is committed to supporting students to become expert learners and is able to both enthuse and inspire their students. The Wells Academy is working hard to develop a fantastic culture for standards and behaviour and are now focusing on ensuring that all learners experience fantastic learning every lesson, every day.

The successful candidate will be a French specialist the role is suitable for both an experienced teacher looking for their next steps in leadership/career development, or for an ECT/Teacher looking to secure their next role. As part of the Cultural faculty, you will work alongside an Assistant Principal – Faculty leader and colleagues in History, Geography and RE.

The Academy is committed to ensure that language education becomes a right of all students and is not reserved for the privileged few. As a result, the Academy is committed to ensuring the French department will be fully resourced with both equipment and high-quality curriculum plans. The Academy is also keen to expand its extra-curricular offer and would welcome this from the successful candidate.

Working as part of the Greenwood Academies Trust MAT you will be fully supported to develop your career and the TLR’s available would be for developing Teaching & Learning or leading the Raising Achievement strategy across the faculty.
