Are you an energetic and committed Primary Teacher with the dedication needed to help us provide excellent learning for all our children?

About the Role and You:

As a teacher at our academy you will be expected to engage and enthuse learners through a commitment to developing truly excellent teaching and learning. We need someone with the energy and passion to help make our curriculum truly memorable.

We are looking to recruit an effective class teacher, with a track record of great teaching or the potential to develop as a great teacher. You will join our team of dedicated and energetic practitioners. We are an academy with a very high level of pupils identified as disadvantaged and a range of other diverse needs – all of whom deserve the highest quality of teaching, care and attention. We are working hard to develop an engaging, creative and irresistible curriculum and are seeking someone who can contribute effectively to this journey.

You will be a great communicator, see a positive path in almost any situation and be motivated to inspire our young people.

About us

Seathorne Primary Academy, part of the Greenwood Academies Trust (GAT), is located in Winthorpe, just one mile to the north of Skegness. It joined the GAT in September 2019 and has a diverse range of need in its pupil intake, including a high level of pupils eligible for Pupil Premium and needs including significant challenges around social communication and language delay. Pupil behaviour is excellent, and we have established ways of working based around a restorative approach. We have a very experienced and well-established  team employed to support pastoral, behaviour and safeguarding needs. We share the Trusts vision of helping all pupils to succeed despite their background.

Our learning environment includes well maintained classrooms and learning areas, as well as a beautiful green site including playground spaces, open field, woodland and gardening areas.

You will be joining an academy which plays an active part in local and wider partnerships for the benefit of our pupils and staff.
