This is an exciting time to join Danesholme Junior Academy as we strengthen and further develop our relationship with Danesholme Infant academy, located on the same site, under the leadership of Executive Principal, Nikki Lamond.

About You

The successful candidate will be passionate about teaching young children and be able to create a high quality learning environment in which pupils are engaged in their learning. They will also maintain high standards of planning, assessment and record keeping, and to communicate effectively with staff, parents and pupils. 

You will need to;

  • be a creative, innovative and forward thinking practitioner
  • have experience working in Key Stage Two
  • be dedicated to providing quality teaching and learning
  • have a passion for learning

Danesholme Junior Academy is a large three-form entry junior school, we are passionate about providing opportunities to help our children to grow into responsible and independent young people. We have high expectations of our pupils both as learners and citizens.  We provide a rich, stimulating environment which caters for children of all abilities and aims to develop each child's potential to the full.
