Salary: Leadership L8 - L14 (£50,151 - £58,135 per annum)

The role:

This is an exciting opportunity to join the senior leadership team of an Academy that is having substantial impact on pupils’ lives. The successful applicant will lead and manage teaching and support staff across Weston Favell Academy’s Maths faculty and will have overall responsibility for those outcomes. You will work with other members of SLT to monitor and track the progress of pupils, the quality of teaching and learning and attendance and behaviour within the faculty.

You will be an exceptional middle/senior leader with a demonstrable commitment to helping all pupils achieve their best, despite their background.  With high expectations of behaviour, you will motivate staff and pupils through high quality leadership and management. You will be an innovative manager, able to analyse and interpret Academy data to support clear, strategic decisions. You will be well supported by the senior leadership team at the Academy and the Education Support Team of the Trust, to ensure that the overall Academy vision is achieved.  Experience of leading a successful Mathematics department is essential.
