Salary: £18,562-£19,698 FTE (£10,836-£11,500 pro rata)

Fixed term until July 2022

The Academy are looking for someone who is reliable, hardworking and works well as part of a team. The candidate will ideally have;

  • Experience of working in a school office or similar environment.
  • Be able to work well under pressure and understand the busy nature of a school office.
  • Demonstrate good time management and communication skills.
  • Be efficient in the use of MS Word and Excel.

The main duties involved in this role will be the preparing and planning for our pupil's EHCP reviews. This will entail requesting and collating relevant reports from staff and other professionals in line with statutory guidelines.

Additionally, the candidate will be responsible for tracking, monitoring and scheduling reviews dates, communicating with parents, staff and professionals prior to and after the reviews. Minute taking of the meetings and updates to documents will also be a key element of the role.

Working pattern: Monday - Friday 9:15am - 2:45pm (30 min unpaid lunch break)

Medeshamstede Academy opened in 2012 as a new, purpose-built provision within Greenwood Academies Trust.  All pupils have an Education, Health and Care plan with autism as their main presenting need. Our curriculum is broad and relevant; delivered through termly themed imaginative learning projects which support appropriate pre-formal, semi-formal and formal learning pathways towards independent learning.  In key stage 4, a range of accreditation is offered from entry level to GCSE to prepare pupils for their next stage of education.
