Salary: £8,295 per annum

This is a unique 21 month fixed-term apprenticeship opportunity to join the busy HR department, known as the People Directorate, of a Multi-Academy Trust. 

Working towards a Level 3 Payroll Administrator Standard by working under supervision to provide high quality administrative support to the People Directorate Team.

Your duties may include: 

  • Input pension and payroll data in an accurate and timely manner, compliant with relevant policies.
  • Support all internal and external audits related to pensions and payroll.
  • Enter employee data on to the MyPeople data management system.
  • Ensuring all payroll information and records are maintained in accordance with statutory requirements.
  • Liaising with employees and outsourced payroll service provider to resolve any anomalies or discrepancies relating to pay.
  • Assist with email and telephone queries relating to HR from current staff and members of the public.

About you:

  • IT literacy, including competence with Microsoft Office.
  • You must have excellent communication skills and the ability to develop effective positive relationships with colleagues
  • Be able to prioritise workload and work towards specific deadlines
