Salary: £20,444-£22,129 FTE (£15,516-£16,795 pro rata)

We are seeking to appoint 4 enthusiastic Learning Assistants to join Nethergate Academy, and also cover classes in the absence of the Class Teacher.

The academy works with children and young people who have learning difficulties and complex needs and their families. 

Nethergate Academy is an Outstanding special academy in the City of Nottingham for 163 pupils aged 5-19 with complex learning difficulties and disabilities. Many pupils are autistic and some have SEMH needs

You will be required to help with the organising and running of intervention groups across the academy and also cover classes in the absence of the Class Teacher; including unplanned absence and/or planned absence due to the allocation of PPA time.

This is a great opportunity for someone wanting to gain teaching experience and develop a wide range of skills whilst working in a friendly and supportive environment. To be successful you must be able to demonstrate:
